Best Retirement Calculators
T Rowe Price Retirement Calculator
The T Rowe Price Retirement Calculator is much improved over the original calculator I reviewed in April 2009. The current calculator must have been released after my review because it won the 2009 Mutual Fund Education Alliance Star Award for Best Retail Online Innovation.
A downside of this calculator is you have to register to use it. There is a provision for guest registration, but you still must enter your personal information. It will remember you when you return to use it later and you do not lose your information.
I think that the capability of this calculator warrants registering in order to use it.
Make certain that you read the description of the calculator at the bottom.

Enter the About You information.
Next, enter the Retirement Savings information.
Enter the Asset Allocation information. You can use the sliders to change your input.
Last, enter the Living in Retirement information. If you have a retirement job, you can enter the other income box on this page along with pensions and other income. The weakness of this input is the calculator does not have the capability to enter when income from a retirement job will end which will overstate your projected income.
